"Are you in a barren, dark forest or heading to the light?"
“Burnt Forrest” by John Melillo
As Seen at my workshop at the Beyond Van Gogh Immersive Experience Exhibit in Westbury, NY in 2023. This is a study when considering the life of Van Gogh. He was always in a dark place trying to gravitate towards the light. My painting exercise with the PTSD Veteran’s was meant to start dark and create a path to the Light!
